Gilana Lobel is a Producer and DGA Production Manager based in New York City. A graduate of the UNC School of the Arts, School of Film, Gilana has worked steadily in production on feature films and television series for more than two decades.
Recently Gilana served as one of the NJ unit production managers on Kiss of the Spiderwoman (Artists Equity) and has previously worked on projects such as Russian Doll season 2 (Netflix), Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (Netflix), Lucky Grandma (Independent), and Alex Strangelove (Netflix), among others.
In 2022, her first Production Office handbook, co-authored with fellow UPM Jennifer Haire was published. Keys to the Production Office is available from Routledge/Focal Press or on Amazon.
Oliver Brooks is creative producer based in Brooklyn, New York with a love of logistics and a dedication to getting every dollar possible on the screen.
Growing up in a theatrical family, Oliver learned early on that his unique talent was behind the scenes. A voracious cinephile from an early age, after earning a B.A. in Theater (and making his first feature film) at Butler University, he began working his way through the ranks of NYC film and TV crews, eventually focusing on location management.
He’s produced a Peabody-winning documentary series (Time: The Kalief Browder Story), six years of the TCS NYCMarathon broadcast (the 2017 broadcast won a NY Emmy), and worked for HBO, Showtime, Lionsgate, Warner Brother, Netflix and more.
